The Captain's Program was created to coordinate communication among alumni, by class and squad.

The Program

Class Captains play a large role in the collective fundraising effort that goes into keeping our Dartmouth squads on the water and winning.

Like any non-profit, the Friends of Dartmouth Rowing needs to clearly state its purpose, the source and use of funds, and compelling reasons why alumni might consider adding FDR to charitable giving plans or increasing support over the years.  We have over 2,000 alumni that have been affiliated with the rowing program, many parents of current rowers, and even unaffiliated supporters of the program - so the objective of raising $250k per year (to take any financial burden off of the current rowers) is a lofty objective... but with the support of Class Captains, not an impossible one!
