"The Trina and Alisoun women's four was donated by teammates Trina Olin Santry '80 and Alisoun Smuckler Gensler '80 in 2006. The gift was announced at the celebration of thirty years of women's rowing at Dartmouth and dedicated the following spring. At the dedication, Trina spoke of having to race in old wooden fours in the Head of the Charles, Canadian Henley and other events, while the competition was in state of the art Schoenbrods and other much faster boats. She and Alisoun made a pact to one day make a donation of a "good four" to the women's program. They made good on this pledge and as such the Trina and Alisoun was added to the women's fleet. The boat has been a stalwart of the women's program, and is used for seat racing as well as intercollegiate competition."
