Race Day Logistics

  • Crews launch from the Yale boathouse (The Gilder Boathouse).
  • Racing takes place on the Housatonic River.
  • The course has a strong port-side turn in it, so crews actually start staggered. The racing passes the boathouse with about 500 meters to go and ends abruptly before a dam. Hold water!
